i just remembered the point that i had wanted to make along with my whole long and apparently angry post on change. all of us can be forgiving, gracious, we can give the benefit of doubt, seeing as we are all (underneath our tough exterior and beyond our cold, black hearts) nice people. well that's a generalisation. most of us anyways. however, it is MUCH easier for someone who stands on the outside of a situation to say that.

let's say something big happened. and it's not a very good thing. take for example a very real situation in life. A and B are a couple. C is A's good fren and is a very attractive person. somewhere, somehow, sometime, something happened (yesh i know not very descriptive but u guys know how the story goes). B and C had a little fling or something along that line. u can't possibly ask A to be gracious about it. i mean hello?! the person got his/her trust betrayed. it's very much easier to say 'oh come on, give B the benefit of doubt lah. C must have flirted and all' granted that it does take two hands to clap, but my point is that coming from a person who is in no way involved in the situation, it's easy to say let's be gracious about it, let's forgive him/her.

all that being said. it is evident that i'm not a gracious person. and i'm a hypocrite cos i can still smile and say hi to someone i dislike. peg it down to my helpful nature, but if that person requires help, i wld give. some.

on other news: i tweaked my knee AGAIN at touch. anymore of this tweaking i'd be rendered an invalid soon. oh wells.. and there is something wrong with my fingers. can't seem to catch hold of the ball today. or it could just be the cold making my fingers numb. i think the latter is a much better explaination.

can that girl A still be angry with B if A had very ungraciously rejected B in the first place?

people all make mistakes and some of us regret the mistakes that we have made. If you take it that B had made a mistake which B regrets, then it would not be so much that B has changed, but that at one point in time B made a mistake, which B is sorry for.
